Step into the spotlight! This high energy class introduces students to the fundamentals of musical theatre dance while celebrating the joy of performance. Through a blend of Broadway-inspired movement and storytelling, dancers will explore classic and contemporary styles seen on professional stages.
Students will build a strong foundation in coordination, rhythm, and stage presence while learning beginner-level choreography set to songs from beloved musicals. Along the way, we’ll focus on musicality, expression, and confidence.
No previous musical theatre experience is required, but a willingness to move, learn, and perform with enthusiasm is encouraged! This class is a wonderful complement to ballet training, giving dancers new ways to connect movement with character and music.

MBA Students: Beginning Musical Theatre may be added to your student’s class schedule for an additional $64/month tuition.

Dress Code
MBA students: Please attend class in your usual level-appropriate dress code.
Non-MBA students:
Shoes: Ballet shoes or socks depending on personal preference. Clothes: Come dressed in comfortable fitness attire that’s easy to move in and can handle sweat or, if preferred, a leotard and tights. Don’t forget a towel and water bottle!
