Michigan Ballet Academy is excited to premier original ballet The Princess and the Goblin this spring! Based on the classic fantasy tale by George MacDonald, the story follows the young Princess Irene as she discovers a magical world of goblins hidden beneath her kingdom. With the help of a young miner named Curdie, she must bravely find a way to defeat the goblins who threaten her kingdom. Along the way, Irene learns important lessons about courage and friendship, and discovers the power of believing in yourself.


Princess Irene’s Tea Party — Sunday, May 7 at East Grand Rapids High School

Please join us on Sunday, May 7 at 1:00 P.M for a tea party with Princess Irene and friends at the East Grand Rapids High School. Enjoy a delicious lunch, special ballet-themed desserts, lemonade/tea, a beautiful craft activity, storytelling, photographs with the dancers in costume, a unique party favor for the children, and wonderful door prizes!
