First Semester begins September 12, 2016
This division is designed for students aged 12-21 with a passion for dance who are interested in a rigorous curriculum that could culminate in a professional career. Students in this division and other divisions will be offered opportunities to perform classical, neoclassical, and contemporary works, as well as original choreography. Students interested in this division may also be invited to train for national and international ballet competitions.

Complete all forms (a copy of your medical insurance card may be made at MBA on your first visit). The tuition rates can be found on the Tuition Rates form here. Choose your payment option – year, semester or month. The monthly payment option requires a contract for four payments (1- semester) which must be made with a recurring charge to your credit/debit card. The first month’s tuition will be charged at the time of enrollment, with the subsequent monthly payments beginning in October.
Tuition will be refunded or a monthly payment contract rescinded only for a long-term medical condition that forces the student to withdraw from the program. This medical condition must be documented by a physician.
Scholarships are applicable only for student contracts for the complete year or for eight monthly payments. If a contract is broken for a documented medical condition, the scholarship will not be reinstated if the student re-enrolls later in that same school year.
Discounts are applicable only for student contracts for the complete year or for eight monthly payments. If a contract is broken for a documented medical condition, any discounts applied to the preceding payments must be refunded to the Michigan Ballet Academy.
All parents and students are expected to read the MBA Handbook which includes the MBA Dress Code.
