2018-2019 Season

MBA's 2018-2019 performance season will include our very popular Nutcracker as well as an exciting new evening-length program in April of 2019.  In addition to these two productions, additional performances will be added throughout the academic year.

Don Quixote

The Michigan Ballet Academy presents Don Quixote, a joyful, exuberant ballet featuring a fiery maiden, an errant knight, a case of mistaken identity and a colorful cast of characters. Never before performed in Michigan, this adaptation of the original Bolshoi choreography by Michigan Ballet Academy’s artistic director Irina Vassileni, will delight audiences as they travel to the lush Spanish countryside and listen to riveting Spanish tunes.
